About the Opportunity:

Staffordshire police have an exciting opportunity for qualified substantive detectives to join their child exploitation team. The successful candidate will have experience of working on serious and complex investigations having managed cases through to court. They will also have a strong safeguarding and partnership background having experience of managing vulnerable children.

 

The team has two bases one in Stone and one in Burslem. The hours required will predominantly be Mon-Fri 8-4. However there will be a requirement for these officers to work flexibly according to demand and contribute to the force detective rota and force wide demand.

Am I eligible?

To apply as a Transferee as part of Alliance policing you must:

  • Be a serving Police Officer in a Home Office Force.
  • Have satisfactorily completed the period of probationary service in the rank of constable.
  • Have no outstanding discipline or integrity issues.

Onboarding

  • You will be required to complete and pass a role-based interview which will focus on the competencies and values required for the role.

  • Appointment will be dependent upon successfully passing pre-employment checks, vetting, and medical, which will include a drugs test and a fitness test.
