Management of Sexual Offenders or Violent Offenders (MOSOVO) Administrator
OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:
To manage the VISOR database in order to support the wider MOSOVO function.
Some of the duties of this role include reviewing, managing and updating the VISOR database, including conducting checks, updating annual registrations, updating activity logs and diary pages, updating of personal details and the inputting of Probation license details.
MINIMUM CRITERIA FOR THE ROLE:
The role requires applicants who can demonstrate (with evidence) skills in the following areas:
- NVQ level 3, or equivalent qualification, in Administration or related subject, and/or an equivalent amount of proven relevant experience.
- The use of Information Technology to an intermediate level that includes inputting/typing skills to at least 35 wpm and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Proven communication skills, both written and oral together with an ability to work well in a team environment and when liaising with external agencies.
- Secretarial/administrative experience to include filing, indexing, photocopying and typing.
- Proven ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Previous experience of minute taking (desirable).
- Applicants should be self-motivated and be able to prioritise and complete tasks to meet specific deadlines.
- To attend mandatory welfare screening due to the exposure to highly sensitive and often highly confidential material of a sexual, explicit or diverse nature.
This vacancy is fixed-term maternity cover for approximately 12 months.
