ERSOU - CTP - Inspector - Border Policing (Ports)
A vacancy has arisen for the post of Inspector at Stansted airport ERSOU/CT Border Policing unit (Formerly known as Special Branch).The post holder will principally be required to manage teams of officers in the gathering of CT intelligence, driven by partner requirements and regional/national CT tasks at Stansted, but will also be required to manage resources across the region’s ports when required. Border Policing services are delivered on a regional basis and thus there will be occasions when the post holder is considering regional responses, decision making, and flexing of resources. Further support, including on-call rotas, are required to be fulfilled in support of wider CT policing in the region.CT borders policing forms part of the wider capability for the Eastern Region under a single CT command. This post will therefore form part of the regionalised structure and so the successful candidate will remain with their home force but be offered secondment arrangements to ERSOU CT from that date, in line with the current employment model for our ERSOU regional units.
