CTPNW are currently recruiting for 2 Senior HR Officers to join their established HR Team.

We are looking for dedicated, committed and highly motivated individuals to join our fantastic HR team. This is an exciting role for an experienced, HR professional to develop their leadership skills and support on a wide variety of people related matters for CTPNW.
You will have line management responsibility for the HR and Recruitment colleagues in the team and will support the HR Senior Partner to deliver a professional, regional HR service.
About the Role
You will:
• Lead staff within the CTPNW HR/Recruitment Unit.
• Liaise with Regional HR Colleagues and work collaboratively in line with Home force policies, to advise management on a range of recruitment principles.
• Be the point of contact within CTPNW for the home forces of seconded police officers and staff and deal with any HR issues arising from secondments E.G. differing terms and conditions of service. Arrange and administer secondment agreements as necessary.
• Arrange and attend the CTPNW Resource Management Group (RMG), providing advice on HR issues as required. Carry out actions and directions arising from RMG decisions and report back as required.
• Manages a case load, providing support and guidance to local managers on employee relations matters.
• Assists in the delivery of local change programs across the CT regional forces.
• Ensure compliance with employment law, policies, procedures and best practice
• Build and maintain strong and effective working relationships with key national, regional and local partners and stakeholders
• Support a culture of inclusion, wellbeing and professional development across CTPNW
About You
You will have:
• Level 5 CIPD and hold CIPD professional accreditation as an Associate Member
• Significant HR generalist experience
• Experience of employee relations, organisational change, workforce planning and leading on consultation with Trade Unions
• Sound understanding of HR policies and procedures.
• The ability to influence, challenge and advise senior leaders with confidence and credibility
• The ability to work autonomously delivering
• Excellent communication, problem solving skills.
• A well-developed ability to think strategically, and to develop strategy and policy positions to meet organisational needs
• A high level of integrity, resilience and discretion when working with sensitive information
• The ability to be adaptable and manage conflicting priorities.
This role will be based in Manchester with the occasional requirement for Regional travel. This is a Hybrid role with your working week being split between office days and working from home. Flexibility will be required to come into the office more frequently when required.
