NDORS Course Leader - Police Staff

Main Purpose of Role

Nottinghamshire Police are committed to reducing those killed and seriously injured on our roads, to save lives and mitigate the ongoing trauma of affected family and friends.

Nottinghamshire Police recognise that the biggest factor in altering driver behaviour is through education.  Nottinghamshire Police are a licenced course provider (through UKROEd) of Speed Awareness Courses and offers a suite of courses to cover a number of different driving offences as an alternative to prosecution.

The post holder will be responsible for leading and managing a number of NDORS Trainers and back-office staff and ensuring a mixed program of courses are available to meet demand and the needs of the public, both on-line and in community venues. They will also have wider responsibilities including internal monitoring and quality assurance of trainers and venue booking and liaison.  The post holder will also prepare and deliver the annual review documentation to UKROEd in conjunction with departmental Inspector and attend a number of national conferences and meetings.

The post holder will be expected to travel around the County to meet trainers and venue hosts and will be able to claim appropriate allowances to do so when using their own vehicle.
