Safety Camera Operations and Performance Supervisor - Police Staff
Main Purpose of Role
Road traffic collisions can devastate lives, both of those directly involved, and their wider families and friends, with loved ones being fatally or seriously injured, and causing years of grief and loss.
Nottinghamshire Police are committed to reducing those killed and seriously injured on our roads through a multitude of road safety work, that includes working with partners to re-engineer existing roads, undertake road safety education and, if required, undertake enforcement to keep drivers compliant with speed limits and other road traffic laws.
The Safety Camera Operations and Performance Supervisor is a key part of this wider response to road safety and will work within the Nottinghamshire Safety Camera Partnership ensuring that the department continues to remain operationally functional and legitimate in its aims of reducing casualties. The post holder will also be responsible for developing and presenting performance data across a broad range of datasets in order to inform effective deployment of resources across the Force area.
The post holder will also directly supervise and lead a small, dedicated Investigation department which consists of a mix of Police Officers and Staff and be responsible for supervising all investigative work.
Essential Criteria
To undertake the supervision of the Investigation team, the post holder must be PIP/1 accredited.
