Duty Planner - Police Staff
Main Purpose of Role
To plan and maintain duty rosters for officers and police staff and carry out the necessary associated administrative functions, co-ordinating matters regarding training, events planning and other duties related matters on an on-going basis to ensure that Nottinghamshire Police’s operational business areas are appropriately resourced to meet the policing demand.
Key Skills & Experience Required
- Significant knowledge and experience of the complexities of shift systems and duty rostering
- Be able to demonstrate experience in dealing with conflict, using tact and diplomacy as necessary
- Be able to work in a methodical manner and possess analytical and problem solving skills.
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to make decisions using own judgement and held accountable for these decisions.
- Must be able to work under pressure in order to meet tight or sudden deadlines as necessary
