We have several exciting opportunities available for Superintendents to join our leadership team. Serving a diverse population of over 1.1 million people across 2,500 square miles, our force area includes vibrant urban centres, market towns, and rural communities. Neighbourhood policing is at the heart of what we do, and our success is built on strong collaboration with partners across the East Midlands.
As a Superintendent or Chief Inspector with a proven track record, you’ll play a key role in setting the strategic direction of the force. You’ll help embed a positive organisational culture, champion our values and ethics, and uphold the highest standards of professional conduct.

Key Information
- Salary: £84,177 – £99,015 (as of 1 September 2025)
- Eligibility:
- Substantive Superintendents (lateral transfer)
- Substantive Chief Superintendents eligible for promotion who have completed or are willing to complete the College of Policing Senior Leaders Programme (SLP). Officers who are successful on promotion will be temporarily promoted until they have completed their Senior Leadership Programme.
