Homicide and Major Enquiry Team (HMET) Detective Inspector – Transferee
Cleveland Police is seeking an experienced and committed Detective Inspector to join our Homicide and Major Enquiry Team (HMET). This is a pivotal operational role, leading investigations into murder, serious violence, and other complex cases.As the DI within HMET, you will be responsible for directing and managing high-profile investigations, ensuring offenders are brought to justice and delivering meaningful outcomes for victims and their families. You will play a key role in maintaining public confidence through professional, thorough, and victim-focused investigative leadership.
This is a hands-on position requiring a proactive approach to all aspects of serious crime investigation. You’ll be working alongside a dedicated team, using your expertise to drive investigations forward and uphold the highest standards of policing.
