Quality and quantity of current work such will also be considered. There is also a need to demonstrate the ability to remain calm and confident in difficult and high pressure situations whilst responding logically and decisively. The candidate will also be required to demonstrate the consistent ability to prepare for and participate in planned policing operations.
Officers must be Advanced Drivers and TPAC trained.
The assessment centre will take place under strict conditions. Dates for the assessments will be provided to the applicants that are both supported by their Chief Inspector and have successfully passed their written application.
There are a number of optional awareness days that are designed to give a fuller understanding of the role and the assessment process. These sessions will be informal drop-ins and candidates are not expected to attend for the full session. They are an opportunity to speak to the team and get an understanding of the role. They will take place at Doxey Police Post (National Highways depot), Seighford Lane, Seighford, Stafford, ST18 9LQ.
