ERSOU - ROCU - PC/DC- TEI Technical Deployment Specialist

An exciting, rare and challenging opportunity has arisen for a PC/DC to join the Eastern Region Special Operations Unit within the Technical Development Unit. This is for an immediate post and a potential second future post in addition to an already growing and developing team working at the forefront of ground breaking capabilities to tackle serious and organised crime. The Eastern Region Special Operations Unit (ERSOU) target Serious / Organised Crime and Counter Terrorism within the Seven forces that comprise the Eastern Region. The successful applicant will form part of a skilled team, who work flexible hours to deliver Targeted Equipment Interference (TEI) capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with Commissioning Investigators of police investigations providing access to advanced digital collection capabilities.

Develop collaborative working relationships with the national TEI Community

Design, implementation, deployment and maintenance of technical assets, infrastructure and covert methodologies in support of Covert Policing.

Working co-operatively with team members and colleagues, contributing positively and constructively to achieve Local TEI Team aims and objectives.

Support the ROCU Regional Technical Development Unit effectively by working both with the team as directed by the Local TEI Team Supervisor and also be capable of working with limited supervision, planning and prioritising own workload.

Analysis and interpretation of technical data sets derived from our TEI assets and methodologies.
