Location: Vickery Building, Southern Support and Training Headquarters, Netley

 

Salary: Scale 6, £32,247.00 - £34,329.00 per annum 

 

Hours: 37 hours per week 

 

Contract: Permanent 

 

Closing Date: Friday 31st October 2025 at 23.59 hours

 

About the role

The successful candidate will create and maintain the Constabulary action plans, information files and contingency plans. To advise the management team in relation to them to ensure that resources are utilised in the most effective and efficient way. This will include liaison and communication with external agencies and internal staff

Key Responsibilities

These include but are not limited to: 
 
  1. To receive and make telephone calls and take appropriate action in accordance with force and divisional policies
  2. To liaise with external agencies. 
  3. To interrogate and update the Command and Control System. 
  4. To interrogate and where appropriate, update other force information systems. 
  5. To undertake authorised searches in respect of a range of computerised database systems. 
  6. To receive and send e-mail messages and information via internal systems and the Internet. 
 

 

 

Essential Qualifications

 
Educated to QCF Level 3 OR work experience deemed to have brought the post holder to a comparable level.
   

 

Essential Experience

Proven experience of working in office administration, with frequent people contact particularly on the telephone including handling difficult callers and sensitive matters. Experience of working in a pressurised and reactive environment. Familiarity with computerised systems including regular use of a keyboard
