Location: Police SHQ, Eastleigh
Salary: Scale 3, £24,222 - £25,626 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Closing Date: Tuesday 21st October 2025 at 23:59 hours
To work effectively and efficiently as a member of the supplies team for
the issue of uniform and non-uniform items to the Constabulary.
Key accountabilities include but are not limited to:
1. To be the initial point of contact dealing with enquiries by email,
phone and in person. To provide advice and guidance on stock
items and scales of issue to all roles within the Constabulary.
2. Review of all clothing and equipment requests including scale of
issue, entitlement and personal issue history.
3. Accurate selection and distribution of the full range of stock
inventory items.
4. Fitting of clothing and equipment to all uniform, non – uniform and
specialist roles including the measurement and fitting of specialist
body armour.
5. To receipt and accurately record deliveries in from various suppliers
and to liaise with them to report any discrepancies and arrange
goods needing return due to being faulty or incorrectly delivered.
6. To record all stock movements onto the inventory control stock
management system in a timely manner, placing close attention to
detail to maintain accuracy. To complete the individual and

Educated to QCF Level 2 OR work experience
deemed to have brought the postholder to a comparable level.
