S4-Intelligence Operator

The roles and responsibilities of this role include the below:
To provide a specialist role within the Intelligence Management Unit, including delivering a high level of expertise in all areas of PNC functionality and management, 24/7 intelligence support to the wider organisation and the searching, inputting and dissemination of relevant data.
To input and maintain reports on PNC and other computer applications within Force and National guidelines
To provide a point of reference and contact for other agencies in relation to information required for PNC reports i.e. DVLA for disqualified drivers.
To provide an out of hours and live time intelligence support function
Prepare and deliver intelligence products to clearly and accurately inform decision making
To be an out of hours point of reference and contact for a variety of systems including ANPR, PND and Visor
Establish and maintain networks with internal and/or external partners at all levels of seniority to ensure appropriate information sharing in support of a timely response and to achieve shared objectives. To receive, process and assess intelligence submissions ensuring that they are prioritised, linked and actioned where an appropriate operational response is required.
Adhere to all legal frameworks, key working principles, policies and guidance relevant to the role to ensure information and intelligence is handled and processed legally.
Maintain awareness of innovation within intelligence to ensure implementation of latest techniques and tactics, best practice, and information relevant to the role.
