The North West Regional Organised Crime Unit is a collaborative multi agency covert response to tackle serious and organised crime across the North West Region.

We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic HR/Resourcing Officer to join our supportive and friendly NWROCU HR Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering high quality HR support across the organisation.


In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll be the first point of contact for HR enquiries, you will provide an efficient and effective HR administrative support, manage onboarding and offboarding, and maintain the Duty Management System. The NWROCU leads the policing response across the region posed by serious and organised crime in Cumbria, Lancashire, Merseyside, Cheshire, Greater Manchester and North Wales. The NWROCU provides the vital link from national capabilities and expertise to local policing and knowledge, enabling the North West region to deliver the Government’s serious and organised Crime strategy and to protect communities from harm.


The post is subject to an initial secondment of two years reviewable based on continuous funding and performance.


The Grade of this role has been determined using the Merseyside HAY procedure and has been afforded a Merseyside Grade D. This equates to a salary range of £29,109 - £31,296. Successful applicants from other Regional Forces will be paid a salary within this pay range. These are full time roles working ‘flexitime’ however, applicants must be aware that there is a requirement for the post holders to be flexible in relation to working hours.

Successful applicants working within NWROCU will be subject to NCA Clearance, MV (Management Vetting) and SC (Security Clearance) prior to taking up post.
