The T/DCC portfolio includes oversight of the People Directorate, Performance, Professional Standards, Equality and Diversity, and Corporate Communications.
About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced senior officer with exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record of positively leading and managing operational policing and change. You will be a leading advocate for the organisation’s culture, upholding standards and role modelling behaviours in line with the Code of Ethics to ensure an inclusive working environment for our officers and staff.
This opportunity to join Suffolk’s Chief Officer Team is open to existing Deputy Chief Constables and/or Temporary/Substantive Assistant Chief Constables seeking the experience of temporary promotion. Candidates will need to have passed the Executive Leadership Programme (ELP) or equivalent strategic command course. The Authorisation Officer Course (A7) is not a pre-requisite for this position, this can be delivered and completed after appointment.
