Criminal Justice Team Leader - Hybrid Working

As a Team Leader you'll play a key role in managing a high-performing administrative team and ensuring the seamless delivery of our services.
In this role, your main responsibilities will be:
- To have responsibility for the management and guidance of staff
- To ensure that all enquiries and complaints are satisfactorily progressed
- To respond to queries from members of the public, other departments within the organisation or other outside agencies
- To prioritise and manage workloads
- To oversee the maintenance, creation and updating of a variety of computerised databases
- To undertake the preparation of statistical data when required
- To be responsible for correspondence relating to the office
- To quality assure decision making based on guidance and policy
Skills and experience required:
- Computer Literate
- Administration experience
- Ability to make use of information technology applications
- Ability to supervise staff
- Ability to motivate staff to work together as a team
- Ability to communicate effectively (orally and in writing) with both small and large group

Additional Information:
Interviews are scheduled to take place week commencing 6th October 2025.
The successful candidate for this role will have the opportunity to work from home whilst also at a secondary work location, which can be either Bridewell, Bridgwater, Kenneth Steele House, or Police HQ in Portishead.
To be eligible to apply for this role you must have a 3 year ‘checkable history’ in the UK – ideally this means that you would have been resident in the UK for the last 3 years.
