Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Quality assuring and auditing the delivery of the relevant Technical Skills Learning portfolio, utilising version-control, relevant documentation and learning resources reflecting the curriculum, professional practice, guidance, standards from evaluation reports to ensure that Technical Skills Learning interventions are accurate, relevant and professionally delivered.
- Leading, inspiring, coaching and matrix managing Technical Skill Trainers / Assessors and a complex pool of staff, seconded officers, SMEs and Associates to ensure compliance and achievement of agreed specifications, maintaining the highest level of integrity to support the professional development of delegates and trainers to embed a customer-focus culture.
- Continually researching and refreshing own expertise by working alongside a wide range of stakeholders, sharing knowledge, identifying innovative solutions and developing evidence-based policing standards. Lead on horizon scanning, which then informs the development of curriculum specifications and learning interventions which support, promote and embed consistency in professional practice across Technical Skills Learning within policing and partner agencies.
To be successful in this role youll need:
- Strong ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and work collaboratively to achieve objectives.
- To be able to apply judgement creatively and flexibly to solve complex problems and generate new ideas.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences/scenarios.
