Introduction
Counter Terrorism Policing North West (CTPNW) is a five-force collaboration delivering Counter Terrorism (CT) services to our regional forces as well as forming part of the national CT Network. CTPNWs mission is to work together to keep people safe from terrorism.
We are looking for a committed and outstanding individual to fulfil the role of PREVENT Triage Supervisor within the PREVENT capability in CTPNW.

Supervision of CTPNW Prevent Triage teams.
Coordination and delivery of Prevent Case Management (within Triage).
Operational Duties
Contribute to the delivery of the Governments CONTEST and Prevent Strategy by ensuring that the team has a coordinated, effective, and strategic approach to policies and practices.
Supervise staff and allocate staff in furtherance of Prevent activity at force/regional level.
Comply with and enforce Prevent Case Management and Police Gateway Assessment Policies and Procedures in line with national, regional and local guidelines.
Receive, assess, evaluate and allocate Prevent referrals from internal and external partners to the Triage team for them to make appropriate vulnerability assessments. (Assisting with Triage in times of Operational need).
Quality assures the products created by the Triage team.
Research data systems to accurately review and assess information, making appropriate decisions and recommendations in line with the National Decision-Making model.
Identify patterns of threat, risk and vulnerable behaviour to support Prevent objectives.
Be accountable for the performance of the Triage team.
The role works to the flexi policy and although based in Lancashire, you will be expected to travel around the NW region to attend meetings / manage staff at multiple sites. The role requires access to the most sensitive intelligence material daily and applicants must hold, or be prepared to undergo, National Security Vetting at Developed Vetting level before taking up the post.
If you are successful in applying for this post and are a member of police staff at a police force currently that is different to Lancashire Police, you will be required to resign from your current force and take up a contract of employment with Lancashire Police.
