Asset Reconciliation Officer

Full time vacancy

The opportunity has arisen to join the Asset Reconciliation Team as part of the Vehicle Recovery Service team. This role will see you working as a team in the role of researching information in relation to the ownership of vehicles currently held by law enforcement agencies before return, retention or disposal. The post-holder will be responsible for making enquiries, formulating reports and presenting their findings to the Asset Reconciliation Manager for a disposal decision.

The successful candidate will identify and review any new and current working practises in order to ensure continued effectiveness. Where directed, they will implement new measures to rectify any deficiencies and maintain appropriate records for the purpose of providing effective management and financial information.

You must have substantial administrative experience and be educated to GCSE or equivalent (e.g. NVQ) level including maths and English or have experience commensurate with the role.

The opportunity exists to work from home once you are fully trained and competent in the role.
