Counter Terrorism Policing North West (CTPNW) is a five-force collaboration delivering Counter Terrorism (CT) services to our regional forces as well as forming part of the national CT Network. CTPNW’s mission is to work together to keep people safe from terrorism.
We are looking for a committed and outstanding individual who can support CTPNW in achieving its mission.
To work as part of the CTPNW Protective Security Team responsible for all aspects of physical and personnel security across CTPNW with specific responsibility for the National Border Targeting Centre (NBTC) and Manchester Airport.
Ensuring the effective implementation of and adherence to national physical and personnel security policies and guidance to maintain the integrity of the CTPNW estate and protect its staff and assets.
To undertake the role of deputy STRAPSO.
The successful candidate will be required to travel regularly between GMP FHQ, NBTC and Manchester Airport with occasional travel to other sites elsewhere in the region as necessary (a vehicle will be provided if necessary or appropriate allowances paid).

Please be advised that following a successful application, final release will be subject to approval by the Deputy Chief Constable. HR reserve the right to withdraw any application that has not been granted approval.
Police Staff are required to relinquish their substantive post if the secondment duration is expected to be over one year.
