Over the last few months, we’ve taken the opportunity to review our HR operating model & underpinning structure and roles. As a result, we’ve got some exciting new opportunities to join our great HR team.

As part of the team working in the Human Resources Division, you can make a real difference by supporting the provision of Human Resources to our officers and staff across the second largest police force in the UK.

Key responsibilities of the role include -

To support the ongoing development, delivery and improvement of the e-recruitment platform, ensuring it enables efficient, inclusive and compliant recruitment processes across all functions.

The post holder will be responsible for day-to-day management and maintenance of the system, ensuring technical updates, user support, and process improvements are implemented effectively.

They will contribute to improving the candidate and hiring manager experience by supporting the use of technology in recruitment and ensuring data and system outputs meet business needs.

They will be responsible for producing and delivering regular and ad-hoc reports and data insights to senior stakeholders, providing analysis and commentary to support decision making. This includes ensuring accuracy, relevance and accessibility of management information drawn from the e-recruitment system.

The role includes line management of a team, with responsibility for setting clear objectives, overseeing workload and supporting professional development. The post holder will work closely with senior internal stakeholders and external system suppliers to identify system improvements, resolve technical issues and support the delivery of high-quality recruitment services.

They will also help build internal capability in the use of the e-recruitment system through training, guidance and ongoing support, while ensuring compliance with data protection, equality and governance requirements.

This is a full time, permanent position and you will work 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00.

You will require Standard Recruitment Vetting.
