Job Title: Leadership Academy Continuous Improvement Support
Salary: The starting salary is £34,808, which includes allowances totalling £2,928.
The salary is broken down as £31,880 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £34,108. Plus, a location allowance of £1,928 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.
Location: Central London locations, Marlowe House, NSY and potentially other locations across the MPS
Be the reason our leadership programmes at the new Met Leadership Academy are better and more effective. Your core collaborators will be quality assurance, facilitators, the Course Programme Manager and Course Programme. Together, you’ll work to maximise learning opportunities and drive forward our success.
Key responsibilities:
- Improve the course design in line with the course objectives
 - Improve access to online materials and user experience of LMS.
 - Develop and refine immersive learning products.

Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAT, DSAT) and adult learning principles
 - Skilled in content design and continuous improvement across various learning formats
 - Confident using content design tools and MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
 - Able to create engaging, accessible leadership programmes using feedback and evaluation
 - Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas
 - Creative, detail-oriented, and quality-driven mindset
 - Collaborative team player who works well with SMEs, designers, and L&D teams
 - Proactive in spotting trends and recommending timely learning interventions
 
Experience
- Designing and refining content to enhance learner engagement and accessibility
 - Implementing immersive learning products (e.g., Hydra, VR/AR)
 - Using data insights to guide design improvements
 - Leading change through innovation and challenging existing practices
 - Managing risks and escalating issues appropriately
