Collision Records Administrative Assistant - Police Staff
Main Purpose of Role
To allow Nottinghamshire Police and our local authority partners to be able to effectively reduce those killed and injured on our Counties roads, effective collision data needs to be collected by Police Officers to be able to be analysed which highlights locations of concern and prompts action from one or more partners in an effort to reduce collisions at those sites.
Victims of Traffic Collisions often need access to compensation to recuperate from their injuries, or to adjust to a new life following involvement in more serious injury, or fatal collisions. The post holder will play a pivotal part in supplying solicitors and other interested third parties, police held data to further their claims when requests are received.
The Collision Records Administrative Assistant is pivotal to ensure data is collected, it is accurate and works closely with our partners to translate that data to action. The post holder will work part time as part of a job share within the Collision Records Department.
The post holder will also be responsible for ensuring timely collision data provision to interested third parties in line with the Management of Police Information (MOPI) and Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA).
