About You
As Deputy Chief Constable, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional policing across Norfolk. You will lead with integrity, inspire confidence, and drive performance that makes a tangible difference to the communities we serve.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced senior officer with exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record of positively leading and managing operational policing and change.
The successful applicant will join a high-performing Chief Officer Team that is focused upon working collaboratively and in partnership with local communities, neighbouring forces, and partner organisations. The Deputy Chief Constable portfolio includes the People Directorate, Performance, Strategic Business and Operational Services Department, Professional Standards, Equality and Diversity and Corporate Communications.
This opportunity to join Norfolk’s Chief Officer Team is open to existing Deputy Chief Constables and/or Assistant Chief Constables seeking promotion. Candidates will need to have passed the Executive Leadership Programme (ELP) or equivalent strategic command course. The Authorisation Officer Course (A7) is not a pre-requisite for this position, this can be delivered and completed after appointment.
