Firearms Administrative Supervisor - Police Staff

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team. A vacancy has arisen for the role of Firearms Administrative Supervisor within the Crime & Justice Department here at Phoenix House, Mansfield Nottinghamshire.
The post holder is responsible for the day to day running of the administration section of firearms licensing ensuring all legal procedures in accordance with the Firearms Act 1968 Guide on Firearms Licensing Law and Procedural Guidelines in relation to the processing of all applications for licences. The post holder will ensure applications are dealt with accurately and deadlines are met.
The team provide a point of contact to members of the public, shooting organisations, solicitors and courts.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and previous relevant experience. They will have the ability to collate data and information accurately and efficiently. The post holder will be able to work on their own initiative. It is also important to be able to prioritise your own workload in order to meet strict deadlines.
