Our Criminal Justice Department is looking for a number of hard working, professional and committed individuals to join a fast paced and challenging team, which plays an important part in the delivery of comprehensive support to all aspects of Criminal Justice within North Yorkshire.
The successful Prosecution Team Officer will be responsible for undertaking a variety of clerical duties, which will assist in bringing offenders to justice. We are looking for someone passionate about providing an excellent level of service to Police Officers, CPS lawyers and all other colleagues.
Within this fast paced and demanding role, you will be expected to take responsibility for the following duties:
- Preparation of case files for Court hearings
- Maintaining paperwork and IT systems to ensure efficient case load management
- Communicating with victims and witnesses
In order to succeed in this role you will be customer focused and passionate about delivering an excellent service to both members of the public and colleagues.
The roles available are on a permanent and fixed term basis and we are also looking to build a hold list for any future vacancies that may arise.

- Administrative experience
- Excellent IT skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to organise and prioritise, in order to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of the Criminal Justice System is desirable, but not essential
- Full training will be provided, in order for suitable candidates to develop a successful career within this environment.
