Data Analyst: JPS Business Coordination Unit
Applicants from Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire are invited to apply for the post of Data Analyst. The successful applicant will work within the Joint Protective Services (JPS) Business Co-ordination Unit (BCU).The post holder will be required to support Joint Protective Services specialist and crime resources through research to assist the JPS governance process and intelligence analysis at both a strategic and tactical level.
This role requires good interpersonal skills, the ability to prioritise work, well-developed critical thinking and numeric skills, experience in data analysis and/or qualitative research skills, working with customised databases, computer packages and an enquiring mind.
The post holder will also be expected to promote the work of Joint Protective Services in a professional manner.
The successful applicant will work with a small team at either Stevenage or Huntingdon supporting the work of a Detective Sergeant and the Head of department, they will contribute to achieving the vision, purpose and values of Bedfordshire Police, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Constabularies.
