Lancashire Constabulary is looking for a Catering Services Supervisor to to be based at Hutton Headquarters. The site is accessible by public transport and there is also free car parking on site.

The purpose of this role is to support the Business Services Manager in the delivery of the Catering Service across the constabulary with a clear focus around the development, implementation and delivery of a high quality, high performing force wide catering provision and to achieve set goals, performance measures and customer driven service delivery.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • To manage catering compliance, inclusive but not limited to food hygiene standards, Health and safety checks and risk assessments across all catering sites.

  • To lead and inspire the catering function to maximise service delivery, performance and wellbeing.

  • To be responsible for performance of contractors, facilitating the quarterly supply chain documented meetings, incorporating establishment of objectives, KPI’s and performance management processes.
  • To monitor and develop the catering offers so that sales are maximised, and menus and pricing structures support and encourage business growth and make the most of revenue opportunities.
  • To provide reports as and when required on acquisitioning through Framework contracts, Financial and Variance Reporting against budget and Stock Level Usage 
    • Ensure all associated risk assessments within the Catering provision are up to date and regular reviews are documented
    • Maintain a high standard of personal cleanliness and hygiene and a clean and tidy appearance including the use of PPE and wearing of uniform at all times
    • Work with customers and colleagues to ensure delivery of effective communication and management of expectations, adopting a customer focussed approach
    • To attend in house and external training courses as appropriate/required including online training

    Vetting and Medical:

    Please be aware, as a condition of your appointment you must undergo and pass Recruitment Vetting (RV). Please be aware there is a minimum 3 year UK residency requirement for Recruitment vetting and you must be 18 years old at the point of applying.
