Road Safety Unit Manager
Manage the team meeting strategic goals to make Leicestershire’s roads safe.
Salary: £58,455 - £63,573
As our Road Safety Unit Manager, you will be at the forefront of camera enforcement initiatives force wide, monitoring performance, working with external partners and securing budgets to reduce crime and advocate for safer roads.
What you’ll be doing
- Ensuring public confidence as the force expert for the Safety Camera Scheme.
- Tackling targets regarding collisions through collaborative work with Local Authorities.
- Presenting performance and progress of the Safety Camera Scheme to the Chief Officer Group.
The must haves
- Decision-making under pressure using analytical skills and identifying improvement opportunities.
- ECDL Advanced Level or work experience to this level.
- Effectively run performance management and MI by implementing new practices.
