College staff are classed as Public Servants and we are not eligible to participate in the Civil Service transfer process, therefore while successful candidates can transfer in on their existing terms and conditions, any subsequent transfer out of the College to the Civil Service cannot be guaranteed on existing terms and conditions and new starter/modernised terms may apply.

Job description
We look forward to reading your application for the role of Project Manager Property.
The Property and Environment Team are a forward thinking and collaborative group with a broad set of skills and responsibilities. The core function of the team is to ensure that the facilities and associated services meet the diverse needs of our clients and staff.
A key member of this team and with proven property, project management and communication skills, you will be responsible for leading, managing and overseeing the delivery of a range of estates capital projects, in line with the College Estates Strategy and Capital Plan. You will act as the Senior Responsible Owner for the range of projects will include improvement projects across the College Estate as well as planned preventative maintenance (PPM) aligning with our Future Maintenance Register.
Ensuring the delivery of projects to a good quality, on time and within budget, you will need to work collaboratively with both a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will ensure an awareness and understanding of the deliverables for each project and will manage the seamless handover of completed projects into business as usual, including integration into the FM contract.
Person specification
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Prepare, gain agreement to and ensure maintenance of all project-related documents
Lead, direct, develop and manage the work of project support staff, teams and contractors
Prepare, develop and secure formal approval for Business Cases across a 5-year rolling programme and property-related capital projects.
To be successful in this role youll need:
A degree or extensive equivalent experience
Excellent negotiating and networking skills, able to form beneficial working relationships internally and externally.
Recent and relevant experience in building and construction-related project management with proven track record of successful delivery of Estates-related projects to users or clients as measured in time, cost and quality
Be proficient at preparing relevant project documentation electronically and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.
