Salary: Scale 4, £26,106 - £28,653 per annum 

  

Hours: 37 hours per week 

Contract: Permanent

About the Role

We are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task, who will provide efficient and effective administrative support. Accuracy is essential in maintaining computerised fleet records, processing vehicle movements, and managing banking and invoicing within the Transport Department.

Key accountabilities include but are not limited to: 

1. To set up and maintain the computerised vehicle fleet records, including insurance portal,
ensuring that all information is accurate, and current.

2. To register and re-licence vehicles, including obtaining cheques to 
cover fees.

3. To arrange for the sale by auction of vehicles, including completion of 
entry forms, verification of vehicle milometer readings, liaise with the 
Workshop Supervisors and with Auctioneers. To record details relating to 
the vehicle sales, including residual values obtained.

4. To complete new vehicle files, to arrange for the issue of new 
vehicles & reissue of existing vehicles.

5. To be responsible for the weekly banking for the Transport 
Department.

Essential Qualifications

Educated to QCF Level 2 (4 passes including 
English and Maths) OR work experience deemed to have 
brought the postholder to a comparable level

Essential Experience

Experience in a clerical or administrative capacity in a 
busy office environment and to have proven Microsoft 
Office skills.
