Lead Developer
To assist with the implementation of the Digital, Data & Technology Strategy and lead staff to ensure delivery of the annual business plan including the day to day architecting, analysis, design and development of high quality software including support and maintenance.What You’ll Do
To co-ordinate the day to day running of the team to ensure work is apportioned and delivered on time.
To act as a shield for the other members of the development team to prevent disruptions.
To work closely with the product owner in relation to product backlog management.
To architect and develop new functionality/systems in accordance with the specification to create high value products.
To specify equipment and staffing requirements for the operation of proposed systems.
To assist user departments with the work entailed in introducing new functionality/systems.
To design, test and write software using industry standard techniques and routines.
To assist other staff to deal with software problems and prepare software revisions when system changes or improvements are required.
To liaise with external agencies and organisations where required in order to carry out the above duties.
To assist with the technical guidance and training of development staff.
Experience in developing, implementing and maintaining Microsoft Power Apps solutions to streamline business processes and enhance productivity.
To keep up to date with new technologies by attending relevant training courses and putting new knowledge and skills into practice in the workplace.
To monitor and report upon performance, of development staff and systems (this includes weekly reports, quarterly reports).
To liaise with organisations and other forces where necessary in order to carry out the above duties.
