We are currently recruiting for Catering Assistant's to join our existing team in our Police Headquarters in Liverpool. You will be working in a new state of the art building.
We are looking for positive, honest and reliable employee's to join our friendly and hardworking team. We can offer good training and prospects within our team for the right candidate's.
Job Purpose
To work as part of the Catering Team performing a variety of tasks within the Barista Coffee Shop, Restaurant, Hospitality & Kitchen areas. Ensuring high standards of customer service and food safety is delivered in an efficient, safe and focused manner.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
To help the chef and Chef Manager with food preparation and washing dishes
To ensure the counters and front of house are maintained to the highest standards, in terms of presentation and cleanliness.
To be willing to undertake any training to enhance the role as necessary.
To ensure crockery and cutlery are clean and highly polished.
To advise the customers on the menu choice of the day and serve food appropriately.
To develop good customer relations, promoting good customer care to enhance the customer experience in the restaurant.
Have experience working in a similar role and environment
Be highly organised and comfortable working in a high-pressured environment
Ensure you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
Keep up standards of hygiene and ensure all areas are clean and tidy
Have excellent customer service and social skills
Be responsible for the preparation and serving of food to staff
Have a can do attitude and will work well as part of a team
Be customer focused
Have basic food knowledge
Be willing to participate and enjoy working part of the team
Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 08:00am - 14:30pm - there will be opportunities to work additional hours to cover sickness and annual leave across the team.
The role is based in our police headquarters - just off Scotland road , walking distance from the city centre (L3 3AN) is in close proximity to a wide variety of public transport making your daily commute easy and convenient.
