Health and Wellbeing Administrator
Location: Northallerton/Thirsk - There will be occasions when the post holder will be required to work evenings/weekends and travel to sites within North Yorkshire to support wellbeing events
Salary: Grade 2/3 £23,286 - £25,626 per annum (full time equivalent)
Contract: NYFRS, permanent
Hours: 18.5 hours – Wednesday & Thursday 9.00am – 4pm, and Friday 9.00am – 4.30pm.

We are looking to appoint a motivated individual with excellent organisation and communication skills to join our dedicated Health and Wellbeing Administration Team.
You will be the key contact for the wellbeing service, engaging with colleagues and contributing to the development and the delivery of the service by providing a high quality, accurate, complete and timely service including, but not limited to, supporting the referral system, supporting in the preparation of information relating to case conferences, the processing of invoices, data collection, data reporting, scanning and diary management, in line with day-to-day business requirements and operational needs with NYP, NYFRS and OPFCC.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare files and ensure all information is available for appointments.
- Resolving queries where appropriate and signposting to appropriate information sources.
- To promote occupational health and welfare services via the intranet and other appropriate media, ensuring all published documentation is up to date.
- Ensure timely and accurate systems input and file updating to support business requirements.
- Produce management information as required highlighting any patterns/trends to target focus for action.
- Monitor any data input, deadlines and document returns within the agreed SLA’s to ensure maximum efficiency and continuous improvement.
- To maintain master copies of training documentation and assist in the production of training handouts.
- To liaise with the external agencies as required.
- To assist with the co-ordination of events across the OPFCC, NYP and NYFRS.
To be successful you will have:
- Administrative experience in a highly confidential and sensitive environment
- Be a natural empath
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work to achieve tight deadlines with “right first time” accuracy.
- Excellent IT skills including the ability to audio type.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skill and be able to communicate with a diverse client group across a variety of platforms.
- Demonstrable problem solving skills and a flexible approach to client enquiries.
- A good knowledge and experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
