ERSOU - ROCU - Police staff - Intelligence Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity for an intelligence analyst to work directly with the National Western Balkan Team, currently Home Office funded until 31st March 2026.

As a 12-month opportunity, you will be working alongside International Policing, Home Office, Borders and the NCA to identify opportunities to disrupt serious organised crime emanating from the Western Balkan region.

You will work as part of an analytical team to utilise ANPR data and intelligence from the Western Balkans area, wider Europe, and the UK to identify the movement of people, cash and commodity across borders throughout Europe. You will be able to identify opportunities for these vehicles to become subject of Roads Policing operations via ANPR hotlists under Operation Marewood. You will also identify and develop intelligence that presents the best opportunities to identify upstream offending.

The successful individual must have a willingness to problem solve, be innovative and be able to work closely with partnership agencies. This will require excellent communication skills and the successful candidate will be requested to work in an agile manner as there may also be the occasional requirement to travel abroad and nationally.
