Based at the OPCC Offices in Runcorn Town Hall, Cheshire

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) has a new opportunity available.

In this role, you will ensure there is effective governance arrangements in place to support the Police & Crime Commissioner’s oversight and decision-making function.

You will work closely with the Commissioner and his team, preparing documentation and reports to facilitate effective meetings with the Constabulary and other partners, ensuring they are appropriately supported, minutes taken and actions tracked and completed.

You will also be responsible for the office’s handling of Freedom of Information requests and other similar related legislation, ensuring that the appropriate registers are maintained, the website is regularly updated and any appropriate action taken.

Previous experience of managing such functions and processes in a similar environment would be highly desirable.

As with all staff roles in the OPCC, this role is politically restricted.
