People Services Advisor Maternity Cover - Police Staff
Main Purpose of Role
Working in a generalist role you will be required to deliver a high-quality business focused people service for the Force. You will provide HR advice and guidance that supports and drives organisational performance and ensure that consistency and appropriate application of policies are adhered to.
Key Skills & Experience Required
You will have previous experience in delivering a generalist HR service along with the experience of using HR interventions to drive performance. You will be competent to the equivalent of at least Associate CIPD and be able to successfully demonstrate in depth knowledge in at least two of the technical HR areas relevant to this role. You will also have the skills required to develop professional working relationships quickly and effectively and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Up to date knowledge of employment legislation and the ability to analyse and understand data and information quickly are essential elements of this role, as are the ability to identify options, make recommendations and make robust legally compliant decisions.
