Policy and Performance Officer - Office Of The Police And Crime Commissioner
An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the Police and Crime Commissioner for Suffolk deliver their Police and Crime Plan by developing policy, undertaking research and providing clear analysis of qualitative and quantitative performance data.As the Policy and Performance Officer you will work closely with the Police and Crime Commissioner, their senior management team and colleagues in Suffolk Constabulary to evaluate and analyse progress against the Suffolk Police and Crime Plan.
The successful candidate will provide advice, analysis and briefings to inform the PCC’s scrutiny programme and policy work.

• The ability to understand, analyse and present complex statistical and qualitative information.
• Able to give clear, concise and authoritative advice, and be able to negotiate and exert influence when required.
• A track record of delivering on time, managing competing demands and having excellent organisational skills.
• A good understanding of policing and the statutory obligations on the PCC and their partners.
• The ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with key partners.
• Good research, analytical and formal evaluation skills, including the ability to access information from a variety of sources and assess what is important and should be considered in the development of a policy decision.
