Safeguarding Assistant - Child Referral Team
Work with the team supporting the safeguarding of children and vulnerable people!
Join us as a Safeguarding Assistant for the Child Referral Unit, you’ll be part of the team keeping children and vulnerable people safe.
You’ll be conducting risk assessments, and ensuring all reports and referrals are reviewed and actioned, processed and shared with partner agencies.
You will help to research and interrogate police systems to compile reports, carrying out actions relevant to safeguarding and reducing risk.
This is a rewarding and challenging role, where no two days will be the same.
What you’ll be doing
- Attending and minute taking safeguarding meetings
- Compiling adult and child safeguarding reports
- Managing the provision of safeguarding guidance and advice to police colleagues
The must haves
- Ability to compile data from research on IT systems
- Experience of working within a confidential environment
- Able to work in a busy environment, multi-task and meet deadlines
