Lancashire Constabulary’s Safer Roads Unit is seeking a Safer Roads Officer to be based at Lancashire Police HQ, Saunders Lane, Hutton, PR45SB. The site is accessible by public transport and there is also free car parking on site. This post is temporary until 30th May 2026.

We are looking for a Safer Roads Officer to help keep Lancashire's roads safer for everyone. As part of this vital role, you will:

* Support investigations into motoring offences

* Promote and uphold road safety

* Accurately record, update and amend records into motoring offences

* Deal with enquiries from officers, other departments, members of the public, CPS, HMCTS, the Coroner's Office UKROEd, NDORS trainers, other Police Forces, both in writing, email and via the telephone.
