S4-Criminal Justice Support Officer
Criminal Justice Support Officer – located within the East Cheshire Custody Suite - Middlewich (some flexibility required to travel as required)
To act as a conduit between the Officer in the Case and the Crown Prosecution Service, ensuring documentation is accurate and to the required standards to assist in bringing the case to timely resolution to allow closure for both victims and witnesses.
To provide a high level of customer service to internal and external colleagues, acting as a conduit between the Officer in the Case and the Crown Prosecution Service, Courts and partner agencies, ensuring documentation is provided in an accurate and timely manner.
To ensure case material is compliant with the ‘National File Standards’ in order to facilitate bringing the case to effective closure through the criminal justice system and support the aim of making Cheshire the best performing force in the country.
To undertake the necessary training in order to provide support and resilience to other teams within Case Progression, namely the Bail Management and File Upgrade Teams.
