This could be the perfect time for you to join us in our Criminal Justice Team as a Victim & Witness Support Services Administrator.
Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? Join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our services. As a key member of our unit, you'll undertake a variety of administrative and casework duties, support the management and processing of victim-related data, and provide invaluable advice and information to the public.
What you’ll do
- Input and extract data from computer systems within required deadlines in support of the flow of information ensure the smooth delivery of victim services and provision of information.
- Receive and process Information and assign to the appropriate case to ensure all files and accurate, actions are up to date and completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure that section records and performance data are maintained utilising paper and computer systems to log information that can be retrieved when required in support the objectives of the section.
- Provide a document creation and maintenance service, using a full range of desktop functions available in the word processing package to produce documents and tables which convey a professional image.
- Receive and proactively action telephone/text/live chat/email enquiries including those from members of the public, providing and receiving information, responding and routing as appropriate, to ensure a professional, sensitive and discrete service is provided at all times whilst managing customer expectations.

What you’ll bring
- Experience of working in a multi- disciplined team across a range of functions. GCSE or equivalent qualification or relevant experience
- Experience and confidence using Microsoft packages including Excel.
- Experience of working in complex environment achieving deadlines and performance targets Ability to work to a set framework and deliver products that meet a standard depending on set criteria.
- Ability to achieve performance targets across a range of environments with competing priorities.
- Experience of working within a team to meet deadlines and manage a challenging workload Ability to work autonomously using your own initiative.
- Ability to communicate effectively with members of the public, staff and supporting partners at different levels in the organisation.

Terms of appointment
This is a permanent subject to a six-month probationary period.
If you are successful in your application, you will have a six-month probation period with us where you will be unable to apply for any other post advertised internally or externally.
