Applications are sought for the position of Operational Data Systems Supervisor based at Penrith HQ, Penrith.
The successful applicants will need to be able to evidence experience of leading a team, being an analytical person also demonstrate decision making capabilities.
PNC is a national database of information available to all police forces, law enforcement agencies and other specified bodies throughout UK. It is used for facilitating investigations and sharing information of both national and local significance.
The role will support the Constabulary regarding the Supervision of the Police National Computer (PNC) Records Team and the Bureau and support of the forces ViSOR system (Sex Offender Register). Leading a team to ensure the accurate and efficient update of vital PNC records. Ensuring these time critical workstreams are carried out to meet targets and deadlines set by the force, the courts and the Home Office. Supporting a team to ensure effective delivery while supporting a staffing budget. Ensuring correct working practices are adhered to, reducing errors, minimising costs, and supporting front line policing.
