The role of a Volunteer (Special) Constable is unique, varied and challenging.
Our workforce is our most valued resource, of which volunteers are an integral part.

Welsh language skills

You’ll find detailed information about our eligibility requirements and information about the various stages you go through as part of the selection process.

Assessment centres will be held for eligible candidates in May 2025 to fill positions in the September 2025 intakes.
