A relatively rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Beds, Cambs and Herts Major Crime Unit, Major Incident Room as the HOLMES Office Manager. We are seeking to recruit a dedicated and committed individual to take up the role of HOLMES Office Manager, based at Cambridgeshire HQ in Huntingdon. 

Expressions of Interest are invited from persons interested in the position of HOLMES Office Manager North; the position is based in Huntingdon. EOI should be no more than 500 words and should outline why you are interested in the role and your suitability for the role as laid out in the role profile..

The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient running of the Major Incident Room, Supervising the Senior Indexer/Indexers, HOLMES Support and HOLMES Admin staff. The OM will advise the SIO of appropriate resourcing requirements, brief MIR staff and attend operational briefings to keep abreast of investigations, updating the SIO with any developments identified within the MIR. They will continually monitor the quantity of documentation for processing, evaluating and prioritising workstreams. The OM will be responsible for quality assuring work product related to multiple HOLMES accounts.

Due to urgent operational need the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of HOLMES, and be ready to take on the role. Proven supervisory experience and at least 2 years experience in a Major Crime Unit setting are a requirement of this role.
