Retail Crime Architectural Liaison Support and Development Officer
As a strategic function, to manage and co-ordinate architectural liaison work specifically to commercial premises across Scotland, promoting the principles of Crime Prevention through Environmental Design and Secured by Design within the built environment.
Develop the use of all types of technology, including CCTV and other electronic or physical systems, as an effective means of preventing crime throughout the Police Service of Scotland.
Liaise with architects throughout Scotland to promote Architect Liaison Scheme and the concept of ‘designing out’ crime, influencing the work of divisional Architectural Liaison Officers whilst providing support and assistance.
A driving licence is required for this role.
This role will be Monday-Friday 0800-1600.
