Litigation Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring leader to direct and develop the claims litigation service for Thames Valley Police.  You will lead a team which investigates and handles all claims against the force, and also play a vital role in the overall legal service provided to the force.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant legal qualification, or significant experience in a legal department or practice and have detailed and wide-ranging experience in civil litigation.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adaptable to all levels of the organisation are essential.  Along with the experience, confidence and credibility to communicate complex or specialist information and proven ability and commitment to promote equality, diversity and Human Rights in working practices.
