Geographic Information Officer
Support the organisation’s strategic decision making through GI analysis.
As a Geographic Information Officer you will produce GI products and optimise the efficient use of geospatial data and mapping technologies. Using your strong communication skills, you will work with officers and staff to produce maps, cartographic outputs and analysis reports.
What you’ll be doing
- Analyse spatial and temporal data through GI mapping software.
- Present information to be exhibited at crown and magistrates’ court.
- Create, maintain and digitise spatial datasets.
The must haves
- Experience handling large spatial databases.
- Experience producing map products using GI software.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
