ERSOU ROCU Detective Inspector COM UC Eastern Region Undercover Unit

The role of COM UC is a specialist position within the Eastern Region Undercover Unit (ERUU), applications are sought from substantive Detective Inspectors with a background in Covert operational policing. Experience in managing Risk and maintaining high standards are essential for this role, applicants should be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Undercover tactics and the role that this plays within covert policing. Applicants should hold or be expected to pass the A8 course. The role involves a large degree of travelling across the Region and Nationally, flexibility is paramount to this role and there is a requirement to be On Call. This is a highly rewarding role in an area of Policing that provides cutting edge opportunities, the role involves sensitive policing tactics that require vetting to SC/MV levels. Examples of the applicant displaying honesty and integrity will be key to candidates wishing to undertake this role.
